Industrial air doors
Maintaining control over indoor air is critical to proper equipment functioning and human health. Our line of air curtains, air doors and air screens separate conditions within rooms, or between outdoors and indoors with a high-powered stream of air. This allows for independent temperature zones with precision control for each. Air “barriers” such as curtains, screens and doors help enormously with energy costs as well as comfort.
About air doors
Air curtains discharge a stream of air that deflects down across the opening of a doorway or pass-through window. Cold air that would otherwise enter is blocked, as is warmed air from inside that would normally escape. This air stream also creates a barrier to pollen, dust, insects or other irritants. In many models, heat may be added to the air curtain for additional comfort.
PVC air strips and other industrial air doors
When a more solid barrier is needed but a full
industrial door is disruptive or cost prohibitive, PVC air strips or “strip doors” add another layer of temperature containment. Perfectly suited for
cold storage applications, these strip doors are found in coolers, storage rooms and anywhere temperature control is needed.

The advantages of air doors/strip doors
Air doors were created as a non-invasive way of improving conditions and airflow. In addition to their relative low cost and low profile, air doors:
Conserve energy and heating/air conditioning costs. Air curtains/doors keep your indoor temperatures protected from outside elements, dramatically improving energy savings.
Improve worker or customer comfort. An even flow of air throughout your facility plus a steady temperature keeps everyone comfortable and productive.
Improve air quality. Indoor air can be improved greatly by blocking fumes, dust, pollen and other irritants.
